About Rick
Rick Bier began his legal path after completing a bachelor’s degree at Tufts University in 1969 and earning his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 1973. He entered the profession at a time of change in the legal landscape and has maintained a steady presence in the region ever since. His education provided the foundation for a long career practicing in two neighboring states.
He is licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York. Over the decades since receiving his law degree, Bier has worked on matters that cross state lines and reflect the differing court systems and regulations of both jurisdictions. That span of service has given him a deep familiarity with practice requirements and procedural norms across state courts.
Much of Bier’s work has been carried out through his association with Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C. There he has been part of the firm’s roster of attorneys, contributing to client matters that require counsel admitted in New Jersey and New York. His time at the firm ties him to a practice that serves local and regional legal needs.
Professionally, Bier holds memberships in both the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
