About Richard Morse
Richard Morse III began his legal path in Southern California. He earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2012 after starting the program in 2009. That academic grounding set the stage for a practice centered on injury law and trial work.
Shortly after law school, Morse joined the State Bar of California in 2013. He moved into plaintiff-side litigation, handling cases that required courtroom experience as well as negotiation at the demands stage. Early on he split time between case investigation, depositions and drafting motions, tasks that shaped how he approaches files today.
By 2020 Morse was listed as a lawyer at Injury Trial Lawyers, APC. That role placed him on a team that handled a range of personal injury matters, including automobile collisions and premises liability claims. He worked on pleadings and client interviews and helped prepare cases for mediation and trial.
Later in 2020 he launched Morse Injury Law and serves as owner and lawyer. The firm reflects a transition from associate work to managing a practice. As owner he oversees intake, case strategy and the administrative side of running a small firm. He continues to handle many of his own cases from start to finish.
Morse’s courtroom experience informs his approach to settlement discussions. He evaluates cases with trial outcomes in view and prepares clients for what litigation can require. He routinely gathers medical records, consults experts and develops timelines to support claims. His practice emphasizes thorough factual development and an emphasis on procedural deadlines.
He maintains his license in California and remains an active member of the State Bar of California. That membership has been continuous since 2013. He practices under California rules of professional conduct and files matters in state courts within the jurisdiction where his clients live and work.
Colleagues describe Morse as methodical in discovery and persistent in follow-through. He balances office administration with client-facing work and continues to handle depositions and hearings personally. He now leads Morse Injury Law, representing clients in personal injury matters in California.
