About Randy
Randy Blau studied liberal arts at Kalamazoo College and went on to earn his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He moved from classroom to courtroom after law school and built a career across two neighboring jurisdictions, Ohio and Michigan.
He spent the late 2000s in firm practice and advanced to a partnership role at Neuman Anderson, P.C. in 2009. That role placed him in the thick of day-to-day litigation work and firm management. In 2011 he joined Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. as a lawyer at law. The move marked a new chapter in his career and anchored him at a firm he continues to be associated with.
Blau maintains active memberships in regional and state bar organizations. He belongs to the Michigan Association for Justice and the Oakland County Bar Association. He is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan. Those affiliations keep him connected to peers and current developments in practice and procedure.
Colleagues describe Blau’s work as steady and pragmatic. He has navigated the practical demands of firm life, from case preparation to client consultations. His experience spans roles that required both front-line litigation and internal firm responsibility. That combination shaped the way he approaches a case and interacts with clients and opposing counsel.
Blau’s professional timeline shows movement between firms rather than a single, uninterrupted tenure. He has worked inside firms of different sizes and structures. That variety exposed him to multiple approaches to case management, discovery strategy and courtroom procedure. It also meant adapting to new teams and different client expectations.
Outside of court calendars and filing deadlines, Blau has stayed engaged with the legal community through continuing education and association activities. He regularly participates in association events and stays current on legal developments relevant to his work. The memberships he holds are consistent with a lawyer who values ongoing professional engagement.
Today he practices at Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C., where he continues to represent clients and handle litigation matters. His current practice centers on representing clients through his work at Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C.
