About Randall

Randall Klimchock trained first as an accountant and then as a lawyer. He earned a B.A. in accounting from Washington & Jefferson College in 1982 and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1986. The combination of numbers and law has shaped the thread of his career. It also helps explain the long involvement he has had in matters that touch on finance and family.

Klimchock began his legal career after law school and became active in Pennsylvania’s legal community by the early 1990s. He has been a member of the Pennsylvania bar since 1990 and has maintained ties to regional bar groups. Those associations include membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar’s Elder Law Section and participation in the Westmoreland Bar Association’s Elder Law and Bankruptcy Committees. Over time he added local municipal work to his roster of responsibilities.

Since 2008 he has served as solicitor to the Mount Pleasant Borough Planning Commission. That role places him in the center of municipal land use discussions and local government procedure. The position requires steady attention to ordinances, zoning decisions, and procedural steps that can affect small communities. He has handled that work alongside other practice commitments for more than a decade.

His accounting background informs his approach in practice. It gives him a practical sense of financial records and estate figures. Those skills are relevant when addressing elder law questions, probate matters, or financial aspects of insolvency. Members of the Westmoreland Bar Association know him from committee meetings on elder law and bankruptcy. The topics discussed there mirror the work he has taken on for clients and local entities.

Klimchock’s career shows steady involvement rather than frequent public headlines. He has balanced bar association activities, municipal advising, and client work without seeking a public profile. That steadiness, and the mixture of accounting and legal training, has defined the shape of his practice.

He maintains an office at the corner of North Church Street and Smithfield Street and continues to serve clients in Pennsylvania. He currently practices elder law and bankruptcy matters in Pennsylvania.
