About Ra Hee

Ra Hee Jeon built her path to the law through study across two continents and a steady climb through legal education. She earned a B.A. in International Economics and Development from George Washington University’s Mount Vernon campus in 2011. She then attended Regent University School of Law, completing a J.D. in 2015 and an LL.M. in Human Rights in 2017. Those years of study framed her understanding of legal systems, policy and rights-based questions.

After finishing her graduate work, Jeon established herself in Virginia, where she is authorized to practice. Her academic background in international economics and human rights informs how she approaches cases and client issues. She brings a methodical style to research and an attention to statutory detail that comes from formal study and close engagement with doctrine.

Jeon’s professional life includes work at Pender & Coward, P.C., a firm where she contributes to the broader practice team. Colleagues describe her as thorough and collegial. She has participated in client counseling, drafting pleadings and preparing motions. She also supports transactional work and the firm’s litigation matters when cases require deeper legal research or specialized drafting.

Her LL.M. in Human Rights continues to shape her perspective. That training is notable when questions of regulatory compliance, cross-border issues or rights-based claims arise. She reads precedent carefully and weighs statutory text alongside the practical realities clients face. Her undergraduate study in international economics gives her added context on policy implications and regulatory environments that affect corporate and nonprofit clients alike.

Jeon stays current through professional memberships and firm-supported programs. She engages in continuing legal education and contributes to internal trainings at her firm. Her colleagues note she is attentive to procedural updates and changes in Virginia law that affect clients.

Today she practices at Pender & Coward, P.C., applying her background in law, human rights and international economic study to the matters she handles for clients in Virginia and beyond.
