About Quinton E.
Quinton E. Thompson earned a B.S. in Business Administration Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2012. He went on to law school at Vanderbilt University, receiving his J.D. in 2015. His academic path combined a business undergraduate degree with three years of legal study in Nashville.
Early in law school he spent a summer at The Cochran Firm in Memphis in 2014. After graduating, he served as an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow at the Mississippi Center for Justice in 2015. That role placed him in public interest work and exposed him to civil rights and community-based litigation.
In 2016 he joined Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz Personal Injury Lawyers as an associate. There he handled personal injury matters and worked on litigation that involved client intake, discovery and court filings. A year later he opened his own practice. In 2017 he founded The Quinton Thompson Law Office, PLC and has operated the firm since then.
Thompson is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi and maintains admission to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He holds memberships in the Tennessee Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, Memphis Bar Association, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association and the Ben F. Jones National Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect experience across state and federal practice settings.
His background spans public interest representation, plaintiff-side personal injury work, and general civil litigation. He has handled cases from initial client interviews through trial preparation. The mix of nonprofit and private-practice roles has shaped the way he manages litigation and client communication.
He runs a small firm that represents individuals in civil matters. His practice handles personal injury claims, civil litigation and related proceedings in state and federal courts. He currently represents clients in personal injury and civil litigation matters.
