About Cameron

Cameron Watson completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Memphis, earning a B.A. in 2011 after beginning college in 2007. He stayed in Memphis to pursue law and received his J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2014. His academic path kept him close to the city where he has continued his professional life.

After law school he entered private practice. In 2016 he joined Spicer Rudstrom, PLLC as an associate. He has remained with the firm since then. The move to Spicer Rudstrom marked his transition from a recent graduate into sustained practice within a law firm environment.

Watson maintains membership in the State Bar of Tennessee. That affiliation places him among the cohort of Tennessee-licensed attorneys who handle matters across state and local courts. He stays connected to the bar and its activities as part of maintaining professional standards and licensure.

Colleagues describe Watson as methodical in his approach to case preparation. He spends time on research and on drafting documents. He also takes part in client meetings and courtroom appearances when matters require advocacy. His work at the firm covers tasks common to associates: fact development, motion practice, and preparing filings for trial or dispute resolution.

He has worked on matters handled by the firm since becoming an associate. Over the years he has taken on increasing responsibility on caseloads and supported senior attorneys on more complex files. He is known at the firm for steady preparation and attention to procedural detail, attributes that assist clients and colleagues alike.

Outside the firm, Watson’s background remains tied to Memphis through both education and practice. His local roots inform his understanding of the community and regional legal landscape. That familiarity can be useful when advising clients who face legal issues in the area.

Today Watson continues to practice at Spicer Rudstrom, PLLC. He is an active member of the State Bar of Tennessee and handles a range of matters for the firm’s clients, working on filings, client counsel, and litigation support as required by the office’s caseload.
