About Paul
Paul Tenorio built a career that bridges business, law and dispute resolution. He completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance at Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business in 1986. He then attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, earning a J.D. in 1994 and completing coursework in Alternative Dispute Resolution in 1991.
After law school, Tenorio moved into practice in Colorado. He established The Law Office of Paul Tenorio, LLC, where he has served as lawyer-at-law. His work has ranged from court-appointed roles to private mediation. He joined several professional bodies in 2016, aligning his practice with local bar groups and mediation organizations.
Tenorio holds a certification in Mediation Theory and Practice from the Mediation Association of Colorado. He has been a member of the Mediation Association of Colorado since 2016 and serves as a mediator for Court Mediation Services. Those roles have kept him active in alternatives to litigation and in the procedural work that supports settlement efforts.
In 2017 he took on a long-term role as a Guardian ad Litem with the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center. That appointment put him inside the family court process on behalf of children. The Guardian ad Litem work complements his mediation practice and connects him to child-centered proceedings in the Colorado courts.
Professional memberships include the Colorado Bar Association and the Douglas County Bar Association, both of which he joined in 2016. He has maintained ties to the local legal community through those associations and through his mediator duties at Court Mediation Services.
