About Paul
Paul Shpirt built his legal foundation at Golden Gate University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2000 before completing his Juris Doctor at Golden Gate University School of Law in 2005. He left law school with a traditional training in case analysis, research and courtroom procedure. Those years framed how he approaches legal work today.
After finishing law school, Shpirt began practicing law in Nevada. He is admitted to the Nevada bar and has spent his career working in the state’s legal community. Early on he handled a mix of matters that required both careful document drafting and direct client advocacy. He learned to balance courtroom demands with the needs of people and organizations who rely on steady legal counsel.
Shpirt’s practice has included work in state trial courts and in administrative settings. He has represented clients in contested proceedings and handled negotiations on their behalf. That practical courtroom experience is paired with time spent preparing transactional documents and legal opinions. The combination gives him a sense for both the strategy of litigation and the detail work that prevents disputes from escalating.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in court filings and practical in client meetings. He approaches each matter by mapping the legal issues, assessing potential outcomes, and explaining options in straightforward terms. He does not overstate likely results. Instead, he sets clear expectations and outlines the steps needed to move a file forward.
Outside of individual cases, Shpirt has kept current on changes in Nevada law and procedure. He follows new regulations and case law that affect his clients. That attention helps in advising on compliance questions that arise in routine business and personal matters.
Shpirt has balanced periods of contested litigation with transactional work. He continues to accept matters that require trial preparation as well as those needing careful contract drafting or administrative advocacy. He has remained active in Nevada’s courts and administrative forums since his admission to practice.
Currently, he maintains an active law practice in Nevada, handling matters that arise in the state’s courts and administrative bodies. He currently practices law in Nevada.
