Paul S. Geller is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Geller is the founder and principal attorney at The Law Offices of Paul S. Geller, P.C., a criminal defense firm located in Pasadena, California. He has been practicing law for over 20 years, serving clients throughout Southern California.
Mr. Geller earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law, where he graduated in 1998. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado Boulder, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. During his time at Southwestern, he was actively involved in the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, initially as a volunteer and later as a trial attorney handling a wide range of cases, including DUIs and homicides.
Mr. Geller concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, with a particular focus on DUI/DWI offenses and white-collar crimes. He represents individuals in matters involving domestic violence, drug and alcohol violations, expungements, juvenile delinquency, sex offenses, and white-collar crime. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Geller has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Century City for five years.
Mr. Geller is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Pasadena Bar Association, the California DUI Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the National College for DUI Defense. He engages in pro bono work through the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Indigent Criminal Defense Appointments Program. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise by coaching trial advocacy teams at Southwestern University and judging trial advocacy competitions.
