About Pamela B
Pamela B Stuart began her legal journey in the 1960s and carried it into a long career in litigation and government work. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1970 with a B.A. in political science and earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1973. Those formative years led directly into positions in federal agencies and later private practice.
Her early career was rooted in public service. After law school she joined the Bureau of Consumer Protection at the Federal Trade Commission in 1973, serving as a trial lawyer and deputy assistant director. In 1985 she worked as a trial lawyer in the Office of International Affairs in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. By the late 1980s she shifted back toward private practice. Records show she had membership in the firm Lobel, Novins & Lamont in 1989 and worked as an associate at Ross, Dixon & Masback in 1987. In 1992 she founded Pamela B. Stuart, Lawyer & Counsellor at Law. That step established her as a principal in her own practice and marked a transition to managing client matters outside government.
