About Oxalis Bianca
Oxalis Bianca Garcia built her legal foundation in Puerto Rico. She earned a B.S. from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez in 2001 and completed her J.D. at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2005. Those years shaped her early view of law as a practical profession, grounded in procedure and client service.
After law school she entered private practice and gradually took on management responsibilities. In 2016 she became the managing lawyer of Oxalis Law Office, overseeing day-to-day operations and client matters. That role expanded her administrative experience and put her in charge of case strategy and team coordination.
In 2022 she stepped into the role of managing partner at Oxalis & Berry Law Office. The move formalized a leadership track she had followed for years. As managing partner she handles both the business side of running a firm and the professional side of supervising lawyers and managing client relationships.
Garcia is admitted to practice in Puerto Rico, Maryland and Florida. Those multi-jurisdictional credentials allow her to work on matters that cross state lines and involve different procedural rules. She has engaged with the legal communities in the Tampa Bay area since the mid-2010s while maintaining ties to Puerto Rico.
Her professional associations reflect sustained local involvement. She served as president of the Pinellas Latin Bar Association from 2019 until 2022. She has been a board member of the Florida Hispanic Bar Association since 2019. She also holds memberships in the Canakaris Inns of Court, the St. Pete Bar Association and the Clearwater Bar Association, joining those groups between 2016 and 2021. Those affiliations have given her a platform for mentoring newer lawyers and participating in continuing legal education.
Colleagues describe Garcia as a lawyer who balances client work with the practical demands of firm leadership. She has overseen case intake, supervised litigation teams and managed client communications. Her practice requires attention to procedural detail and coordinating work across offices and jurisdictions.
She now practices at Oxalis & Berry Law Office, where she combines firm management with active legal work in multiple jurisdictions. Her current practice focuses on serving clients in Puerto Rico, Maryland and Florida.
