About Julie Beth

Julie Beth Jouben graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing her law degree in 1994. She built her foundation in law in the early 1990s and established her professional life in Florida. Early classroom training gave way to years of practice and steady involvement in the state's legal community.

Her name began to appear in immigration circles in the late 1990s. She joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 1998 and has maintained that membership for decades. By 2000 she had joined the Clearwater Bar Association, where she has taken part in local events and professional development aimed at lawyers working across the Tampa Bay region.

Jouben broadened her professional network in the mid-2010s. She became a member of Cannakaras Inns of Court in 2016 and also joined BNI that same year. Those associations reflect both a continuing interest in courtroom practice traditions and a practical engagement with business and referral networks. She participates in those groups while carrying a caseload and advising clients on legal options.

Across her career she has balanced casework with participation in lawyer-led organizations. Peers see her as a steady presence at association meetings and panels. Clients see a lawyer who aims to explain options clearly and who prepares paperwork and presentations with care. She handles matters in Florida and represents people and businesses before administrative channels where necessary.

Her practice spans more than three decades, a stretch of time that shows the evolution of immigration law and local legal culture. She has remained active through changes in procedure and policy, continuing to attend trainings and local bar events that keep lawyers current. That continuity allows her to draw on long experience when advising newer clients.

Jouben works out of Florida and keeps an active role in local legal life. Her memberships in professional groups reflect an effort to stay connected to colleagues and to the institutions that shape practice in the region. She currently practices immigration law in Florida.
