About Norman
Norman Perlberger has built a long career in the courts of several states and at the national level. He earned his Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1972 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Temple University. His legal education in Philadelphia preceded a practice that spans decades and multiple jurisdictions.
After law school Perlberger entered private practice. He represents clients through Perlberger Law Associates, P.C., the firm listed as his practice vehicle. Over the years he has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and to the bars of Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Those admissions allow him to handle matters across state and federal forums.
Much of his work has involved appearing in trial and appellate courts. He has handled litigation in state courts in the jurisdictions where he is licensed. He is also authorized to present matters in federal courts and has the credential to appear before the country's highest court. That combination of admissions shapes the kinds of cases his office takes and the procedural arenas where he operates.
Perlberger's practice is based in an office structure that includes a main office and a Philadelphia office. He draws on his long familiarity with Pennsylvania’s legal community while also taking cases that reach beyond state lines. The dual-office setup supports matters that require coordination across jurisdictions and court systems.
Colleagues and clients have described Perlberger as steady in the courtroom and attentive to procedural detail. He tends to approach cases through careful preparation and an emphasis on court procedure. Over time he has accumulated practical knowledge of local rules, filing practices and appellate processes, and he applies that experience to the day-to-day demands of litigation.
Outside the courtroom he has remained connected to the practical side of running a small law practice. That includes management of case files, client intake and the administrative duties that come with maintaining offices in more than one location. He started his legal career after completing law school in the early 1970s and continues to practice today. He currently focuses on litigation in state and federal courts across the jurisdictions where he is admitted.
