About Christopher
Christopher Ezold took a nontraditional route into law, studying philosophy before turning to legal practice. He completed a B.A. at George Washington University — Virginia Campus in 1988, earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1992 and later returned to Villanova for an LL.M. in Taxation, awarded in 2008. Those academic steps set a base for a practice that combines state and federal work.
He entered private practice in the mid-1990s. Records show Ezold joined the Ezold Law Office as an associate in 1995 and became a partner in 2007. His admission to bar membership began in 1995 and he holds licenses in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Outside the courtroom he has taken on several organizational roles. He has served as general counsel to the Main Line Chamber of Commerce since 2006 and has been involved with the Magellan Leadership Group since 2007, including a stint as chair from 2010 to 2012. He volunteered as a lawyer for the Support Center for Child Advocates beginning in 1999 and continued in that capacity. He also served as executive vice president of The Center for Advancement in Cancer Education from 2006 to 2007. Those positions reflect sustained engagement with community and professional groups over multiple decades.
Ezold’s LL.M. in Taxation informs an area of his practice. He handles matters that require understanding of tax rules alongside general business and transactional work. Court admissions suggest he is comfortable handling matters that may proceed into federal court. His background in philosophy and years in private practice contribute to an analytical approach to complex documents and negotiations.
Colleagues and clients might describe his work style as methodical. He has remained tied to the same firm name since the start of his career, shifting from associate to partner as the office evolved. That continuity shows in long-term relationships with chambers of commerce and nonprofit boards, as well as in on-the-ground volunteer legal work.
He continues to practice from the Ezold Law Office. His current practice handles tax and related business matters across state and federal jurisdictions.
