About Lanique A.

Lanique A. Roberts earned her law degree from The Pennsylvania State University School of Law in 2017 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg in 2014. Her time in school combined classroom study with practical experiences that shaped the early contours of her legal career. She left law school ready to begin work in private practice and to build a practice across state lines.

After passing the bar exams required for practice, Roberts established admissions in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. That dual licensure has allowed her to take on matters that cross state boundaries and to advise clients on issues that implicate both systems. She maintains active ties to the legal communities in both states and keeps abreast of developments that affect litigation and transactional work in the region.

Roberts joined Sherman, Silverstein, Kohl, Rose & Podolsky, P.A. as an associate. In that role she works alongside senior counsel on a range of assignments. Her responsibilities include legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and assisting in case preparation. Colleagues describe her as thorough and methodical in her approach to casework. She moves from document review to courtroom-ready filings with an eye toward practical results.

Outside the firm, Roberts is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association. She attends association programs and contributes to committee work when schedules allow. Those memberships give her access to continuing legal education and forums where local and statewide legal issues are debated.

Clients and co-counsel encounter an attorney who blends recent academic training with steady day-to-day practice. She relies on the foundations laid during her undergraduate and law school years while adapting to the pace of modern litigation. Her work at the firm involves collaboration on complex files and the iterative tasks that prepare a matter for trial or settlement.

Roberts lives and practices in the Mid-Atlantic region and continues to develop her experience in matters that involve Pennsylvania and New Jersey law. She is an associate at Sherman, Silverstein, Kohl, Rose & Podolsky, P.A., where her practice covers legal matters across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
