About Nikita
Nikita Wolf studied history at the College of William and Mary before earning her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law. She built a courtroom practice early in her career and has steadily added responsibilities and different perspectives on litigation since law school.
Her first notable legal role came as staff counsel for GEICO in 2014. That role introduced her to insurance defense and claims handling. In 2018 she moved into municipal and private practice, taking trial assignments for the City of Hampton and for Christina Pendleton & Associates. Those positions gave her repeated courtroom time and exposure to municipal liability issues and civil trials.
She joined Geoff McDonald & Associates as a trial lawyer in 2021. That stint expanded her experience representing clients in contested matters. In 2022 she opened her own practice, Wolf Injury Law. As owner-lawyer she manages case intake, prepares litigation strategies, and appears in court on behalf of injured clients.
Ms. Wolf is admitted to practice in Virginia and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She maintains memberships in the American Association for Justice, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Virginia State Bar. Those memberships connect her to peers and continuing legal education opportunities relevant to trial work.
Throughout her career she has taken on trial assignments across different settings. Her time as staff counsel provided an inside view of insurance company processes. Work for the City of Hampton required handling claims against a public entity and understanding municipal procedures. Subsequent positions at private trial firms involved litigation on behalf of individual clients, and those roles reinforced courtroom practice and motion work.
Colleagues describe her style in court as direct and methodical. She prepares witnesses, drafts pleadings, and pursues discovery with an eye toward trial. She has handled depositions and motion practice at both the state and federal levels where permitted by admission.
She operates Wolf Injury Law out of the Wolf Law Center. There she oversees a small team and takes cases that proceed to trial when necessary. Her current practice centers on representing people harmed in accidents and related civil claims. She currently represents clients in personal injury matters at Wolf Injury Law, operating from the Wolf Law Center.
