About Nicole
Nicole Loughlin built her legal foundation in Florida classrooms and courtrooms. She earned a B.A. from the University of South Florida in 2009 and a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2013. Those years on campus set the stage for early internships and courtroom exposure.
While still in law school she served as a federal judicial intern in 2012 for United States Magistrate Judge Dave Lee Brannon. The internship gave her a close view of federal procedure and the rhythms of judicial decision-making. After graduation she moved into private practice and took on an associate role at Patrick J. Murphy & Associates, P.A. in 2014, where she spent the next several years developing litigation skills and handling client matters across state courts.
In 2018 she established Loughlin Law, P.A. and began practicing under her own firm name. The transition from associate to firm principal required juggling casework, client intake, and the administrative side of running a small firm. That step also coincided with growing involvement in professional and community organizations.
Loughlin maintains active ties to a range of civic and professional groups. She serves on the board of the South Palm Beach chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and holds board memberships with the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce’s Deerfield Beach Council and the Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS Gold Coast). She has a life membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and was named to The National Trial Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 in 2019. Other ties include participation in the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce and the Elder Services Resource Network. Earlier, she served on the board of the Greater Deerfield Beach Chamber of Commerce from 2017 to 2020.
Those affiliations reflect a mix of civic involvement and trial practice interests. They also provide a platform for local networking and outreach beyond the office. Practicing in Florida, she handles matters that require courtroom presence as well as client advising and case preparation.
Colleagues and peers describe her career as steady and locally engaged. She continues to live and work in the South Florida region, balancing casework with service on local boards. She currently practices through Loughlin Law, P.A., representing clients in matters before Florida courts.
