About Nicholas
Nicholas Renzi built his legal foundation at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, earning his J.D. in 1991 after completing a B.A. in history and political science at Cabrini College in 1985. He entered the legal profession at a time when courtroom procedure and appellate briefing were undergoing steady change. Those early years of study set the timetable for a career that would span state and federal courts.
He has practiced under the banner of Adams Renzi Law. Over the years he has taken cases before a range of tribunals. His admissions include the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, entry to the courts of New Jersey, and federal panels such as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is also admitted to the 3rd Circuit and to the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Courtroom and appellate work feature in his professional record. He has argued matters in trial courts and on appeal. That dual exposure has shaped how he approaches case development, pleadings and oral argument. He tends to bring a methodical approach to litigation, emphasizing preparation and the mechanics of presenting a claim or defense rather than rhetorical flourish.
Outside the courtroom, Renzi has been an active member of several legal organizations. He maintains memberships in the Pennsylvania State Bar, the American Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association. He also belongs to the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers’ Association and the Justinian Society. Locally, he is involved with the Order Sons of Italy in America, Roxborough Lodge, which connects his professional life to community associations.
Peers and clients see him as steady and experienced. He has managed matters that require coordination across multiple jurisdictions, particularly between Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His practice has required familiarity with both state procedure and federal rules. He writes and speaks less publicly than some of his colleagues; his work often remains focused on case files and court calendars.
Today he practices at Adams Renzi Law from the firm’s main office, handling matters that arise in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal courts. He currently concentrates his practice on representing clients in proceedings across those jurisdictions.
