About Nicholas Randall
Nicholas Randall Jones is an attorney licensed to practice in Florida who has worked in both nonprofit and private-practice settings. He earned his law degree at Florida A&M University College of Law in 2006 after completing graduate study in public administration and an undergraduate double major in legal studies and political science.
Jones’s academic path began at the University of Central Florida, where he completed a B.A. in Legal Studies and Political Science in 1999. He returned to UCF for a master’s degree in Public Administration, awarded in 2004. He then attended Florida A&M University College of Law and received his J.D. in 2006.
After law school he stayed connected to the academic environment. In 2007 he served as a legal writing assistant at Florida A&M University College of Law. That role kept him close to legal research and the mechanics of persuasive legal drafting. He moved into direct client work a few years later.
In 2010 Jones worked for Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, an organization that provides legal assistance to underserved populations. His time there involved day-to-day client matters and exposure to public-interest practice. The following year he shifted to private practice.
Since 2011 he has been a lawyer at Jones & Jones Law, P.L. At that firm he has combined his earlier legal writing and public-service experience with the demands of private-practice representation. His background in public administration and his undergraduate studies in legal studies and political science give him a broad base for analyzing legal problems and communicating options to clients.
Colleagues and clients have encountered Jones in court filings, client intake, and routine case management. He has experience preparing written pleadings and handling client communications, drawing on the research and drafting skills he developed in law school and in the legal-writing role. Those skills inform how he approaches matters in the office and in negotiations.
Jones lives and practices in Florida and continues to work at Jones & Jones Law, P.L. His current practice focuses on serving clients in Florida through that firm.
