About Nicholas Gresham
Nicholas Gresham Foster practices law in Florida and brings an academic background in both law and taxation to his work. He built a foundation in geography and computer science before turning to law. Those early interests inform the careful, analytical approach he brings to legal problems today.
Foster earned a B.S. in Geography and Computer Science from the University of Alabama–Tuscaloosa, followed by a J.D. from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University. He later completed an LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Alabama School of Law. The record also notes study at the University of Mississippi in 2006.
After finishing his formal legal education, Foster established his practice in Florida. He has been active in the local bar community and holds membership in the Okaloosa Bar Association, where his enrollment is recorded beginning in 2012. That membership places him in a network of attorneys practicing across a range of civil and regulatory matters in the region.
The LL.M. in Taxation is a defining element of Foster’s training. He applies that credential to advising clients on tax questions that carry legal as well as financial consequences. His work involves interpreting tax rules and explaining how they affect transactions and planning choices. He approaches those matters with attention to detail and an emphasis on clear legal analysis.
Foster’s practice sits at the intersection of law and finance. He handles matters that require specialized knowledge of tax statutes and regulations. He also assists clients who need practical guidance on compliance and reporting obligations. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing submissions and deliberate in courtroom or administrative settings.
He is currently affiliated with Anchors Smith Grimsley. At the firm he represents individuals and businesses on tax-related legal issues and other matters that touch on fiscal regulation. Foster’s work is concentrated in Florida and reflects both his advanced tax training and his grounding in broader legal principles.
He continues to practice law in Florida and maintains an active role advising clients on tax matters and related legal issues.
