Nicholas G. Kline took a steady, academic route into the law. He laid the groundwork at Colby College, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in 2008. He went on to earn a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law in 2016. Those years shaped the practical and analytical side of his legal thinking.
Fresh out of law school, Kline joined Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. as an associate in 2016. He moved quickly from classroom theory to courtroom and office practice. He has remained at the firm since starting there, taking on responsibilities typical of an early-career trial attorney and developing professional competence through casework and firm-supported training.
Kline is licensed to practice in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He pairs his multi-jurisdictional licenses with active participation in professional groups. He holds memberships in the Maine State Bar, the New Hampshire Bar Association and the New Hampshire Association for Justice. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice.
