About Nicholas Benjamin

Nicholas Benjamin Davis trained in two different corners of New York and Ohio before settling into practice. He completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo and earned his law degree from Cleveland State University’s Cleveland–Marshall College of Law. Those institutions shaped his early legal thinking and introduced him to the practical work of lawyering.

Early in his career Davis moved into private practice. He joined Cellino Law and has been associated with the firm in its offices. He also holds current membership in professional associations that align with the practice of law and the continuing education requirements most firms expect. Colleagues describe him as steady in courtroom settings and practical in client meetings.

Davis’s path through school and practice reflects a steady, conventional route into litigation and transactional work. During law school he took classes that covered trial procedure and civil procedure, and his academic record reflects that grounding. After passing the bar, he applied that foundation to day-to-day case management, drafting pleadings, and working with clients to identify realistic goals. He balances file work with appearances when needed.

Clients and other attorneys encounter Davis as a methodical presence. He is not given to showmanship. He emphasizes thorough preparation and clear explanations. That approach shows up in how he handles deadlines, court filings, and negotiation meetings. He avoids hyperbole when assessing a client’s position and seeks to set pragmatic expectations about timing and outcomes.

Beyond casework, Davis stays current through continuing legal education and association activities. He participates in programs that address changes in procedure and evidence rules, and he attends seminars that cover evolving standards in case law. Those activities are practical and aimed at keeping his day-to-day practice current.

Today Davis practices at Cellino Law. His work there involves managing client matters, preparing legal filings, and representing clients in court and at settlement discussions as required, while maintaining active membership in professional associations to support ongoing professional development.
