About Neil J.

Neil J. Kopitsky has practiced law for more than three decades. He earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 1993 after completing undergraduate studies at Colorado College. Those academic years set the stage for a long-running presence in the legal communities of both Georgia and Missouri.

After law school, Kopitsky built a career that spans two state jurisdictions. He is a member of the Georgia State Bar and the Missouri State Bar, and he also holds memberships in the American Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect steady participation in statewide and national professional circles.

Colleagues describe Kopitsky as a lawyer who has stayed active in the daily work of practice rather than in public office or academic life. Over the years he has maintained a practice that serves clients in multiple venues. He has handled filings and courtroom proceedings in the states where he is licensed and has worked to keep current with procedural and substantive changes that affect litigation and transactional work in those jurisdictions.

Kopitsky’s engagement with bar organizations has been a consistent element of his professional life. He has participated in member activities and local bar events in Atlanta and kept ties to national conversations through the American Bar Association. That involvement has informed his approach to casework and client service, and it has kept him connected to developments across two different state legal systems.

Peers note that his experience stretches across matters encountered by practicing lawyers in Georgia and Missouri. He draws on the perspective gained from working under the rules and court practices of both states. That dual-licensure has allowed him to advise clients who have interests that cross state lines and to handle matters that require familiarity with more than one jurisdictional framework.

Today Kopitsky continues to maintain an active law practice. He remains a member of the Georgia and Missouri bars and participates in the Atlanta Bar Association and the American Bar Association. As of 2026, his practice is centered in Georgia and Missouri, serving clients across both states.
