About Nate

Nate Bernstein earned his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2002, where his studies emphasized real estate, business law and bankruptcy. He studied courses that are commonly central to property and commercial practices. Those academic choices continue to shape the subjects he handles professionally.

His career includes practice in federal appellate matters, and he is admitted to the Ninth Circuit. He also maintains active involvement in professional circles through current membership in a legal association. Colleagues describe him as methodical in court filings and pragmatic in transactional work.

Over the years Bernstein has balanced litigation and transactional work. He has handled matters that touch on commercial real estate deals, contract disputes, corporate governance questions and insolvency-related issues. He approaches each matter with attention to deadlines and an eye for the documents that determine outcomes. His background in bankruptcy law informs how he evaluates risk in both distressed and healthy business matters.

Bernstein’s day-to-day work ranges from drafting and negotiating purchase agreements to preparing pleadings and appellate briefs. He has worked on cases and deals that require coordinating among lenders, title companies, trustees and outside counsel. That practical coordination is a frequent part of how his files move from opening to resolution.

He practices at LA Real Estate Law Group- Top Real Estate Counsel. There he handles client matters that involve property transactions, creditor-debtor relations and corporate contracts. The office serves a mix of private owners, developers and private companies, and his role involves both counseling and disputing when necessary.

Outside the office he follows changes in state and federal rules that affect real estate and insolvency practice. He reads decisions from the Ninth Circuit closely and monitors legislative changes that reshape commercial borrowing and foreclosure procedures. This habit helps him identify practical implications for clients before issues escalate.

Bernstein’s work is built on a law school foundation in real estate, business law and bankruptcy, followed by years of practice in the Ninth Circuit and in private office work. His current practice concentrates on real estate transactions, business law and bankruptcy matters.
