About Ms. Amanda L.
Ms. Amanda L. Dean earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Georgia School of Law in 2000. She completed her legal education at a school known for producing lawyers who go on to practice across Georgia. The degree set the stage for a career spent practicing in that state.
By 2004 Dean was working as a lawyer at a medium-size Gainesville law office. That period gave her day-to-day experience in client work, courtroom procedure and case management. Exact responsibilities at that office are not listed, but the role placed her in an environment where litigation and transactional matters often cross paths.
In 2009 she stepped into a leadership position as a founding partner at Breakfield & Dean, LLC. Creating a firm partnership meant taking on business and management responsibilities in addition to legal work. The partnership lasted into the early part of the following decade and represented a move from associate-level practice into firm leadership.
Two years later Dean opened her own practice. In 2011 she became the owner of the Law Office of Amanda L. Dean. Running her own office has involved overseeing client intake, case strategy and the administrative side of legal practice. The change also shifted full responsibility for the firm’s direction and client relationships onto her shoulders.
Throughout her career Dean has practiced under the jurisdiction of Georgia. Her work has included representing clients in matters that require both courtroom representation and out-of-court negotiation. She applies experience gained in larger office settings and in firm partnership to the operations of her current practice. Her current practice focuses on representing individual and business clients in Georgia through the Law Office of Amanda L. Dean.
