About Mr. Thomas P.
Mr. Thomas P. Ehrlich is an attorney admitted to practice in New Jersey and counsel before the D.C. Circuit and the Federal Circuit. He earned his J.D. from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2003. That academic foundation serves as the starting point for a practice that involves both local and federal work.
His law school years gave him exposure to litigation and appellate procedure. He entered practice after law school and has maintained bar admissions that allow him to appear in state courts and in federal appellate settings. Those admissions shape how he approaches cases and the kinds of matters he takes on.
Ehrlich holds membership in the Monmouth Bar Association. He also serves as a trustee of the Legal Aid Society of Monmouth County. In that trustee role he participates in oversight and governance of an organization that provides legal services to community residents. Those responsibilities put him in regular contact with other practitioners and with local civic leaders.
His court admissions include the D.C. Circuit and the Federal Circuit, which positions him to handle appeals that traverse administrative and federal patent or governmental issues, among others. He is also admitted in New Jersey, where he handles matters arising in state courts. He has experience preparing briefs, handling oral argument, and managing the procedural requirements of appellate dockets.
Within the local bar he contributes time to association activities and to the regional legal aid organization. That involvement complements his courtroom work and keeps him engaged in the legal community. Colleagues and clients have looked to him for steady handling of procedural and appellate deadlines and for thorough preparation of filings.
He continues to practice in New Jersey and accepts matters that require representation in federal appellate courts. He currently focuses his practice on appellate litigation in federal and state courts and on providing legal services in Monmouth County.
