About Mr. Sheldon C. Worrell
Mr. Sheldon C. Worrell III earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Christopher Newport University in 2000. He continued his education at the University of Richmond School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2005. Those academic years placed him squarely in the early decades of the 21st century, a time of shifting legal practice and evolving courtroom technology.
After law school, Worrell established his career in Virginia. He is admitted to practice in that jurisdiction and has remained connected to the state’s legal community. His educational background in political science and law provided a foundation for work across a range of legal matters commonly handled in state courts and administrative settings.
Over the years Worrell has worked in private practice. He has represented clients from offices within Virginia and navigated the procedural and substantive demands of state law. His path followed a familiar arc for many attorneys: classroom training, bar admission, and then sustained practice in the community that educated him. He has deployed courtroom experience and client counseling where required, adapting to the changing needs of clients and courts.
Worrell currently practices at The Cooper Law Office PC. In that setting he performs legal work for individuals and entities who seek assistance under Virginia law. Colleagues describe him as someone who attends to case details and maintains direct contact with clients. He handles filings, prepares pleadings, meets with clients, and appears where hearings or trials require an advocate at the courthouse.
Outside of casework, Worrell’s legal education continues to inform his approach to problems. The combination of a political science undergraduate degree and a law degree gives him a perspective on how law intersects with public policy and governance. He uses that perspective when evaluating legal strategies and when explaining options to clients.
As an attorney licensed in Virginia and a member of a private law office, Worrell’s practice is anchored in the state where he trained. He practices law at The Cooper Law Office PC and conducts his work under Virginia law.
