About Mr. Mark
Mr. Mark Robinette began his academic life in the sciences. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Lyon College in 1992 and an M.S. in Fisheries Biology from Auburn University in 1996. He returned to study law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and received his J.D. in 2002. Those early degrees in biology and fisheries inform the way he approaches legal questions today.
After law school he built a practice rooted in Arkansas law and in industries tied to land and natural resources. He has been a member of the Arkansas Bar Association since 2006. Over time he moved into roles that bridge technical subject matter and legal process. His scientific training gives him a different vantage point when parsing technical reports, title histories, and regulatory filings.
Professional organizations have been a steady part of his career. He has been a member of the Central Arkansas Landman's Association since 2011 and served as its president from 2012 to 2013. He joined the American Association of Professional Landmen in 2013 and maintains that membership. Within the Arkansas Bar Association he served as Secretary of the Natural Resources Section from 2012 to 2013, then as Vice Chair from 2013 to 2014, and as Chair from 2014 to 2015. He also served on the Standards for Examinations of Real Estate Titles Committee in 2013–2014. Those roles required him to work with practitioners across law, land, and energy disciplines and to engage on matters of professional practice and title standards.
Colleagues describe his work as practical and detail-oriented. He concentrates on legal issues that overlap with land use, title examination and natural resource matters. He handles questions that arise at the intersection of property records, leasing, and regulatory compliance. His background in fisheries and biology often figures into cases where environmental and resource facts matter alongside legal title and contractual terms.
Today he practices in Arkansas and is active in local and national landman and bar groups. He represents clients on matters involving natural resources, real estate title examinations, and landman-related issues.
