About Frank

Frank LaPorte-Jenner earned his J.D. from the William H. Bowen School of Law in 2018. He attended Bowen during a period of steady enrollment growth at the school and finished law school ready to enter practice. His legal training provided classroom experience and practical exposure to courtroom procedure and client counseling.

After law school he joined the Arkansas legal community. He has been a member of the State Bar of Arkansas since 2018 and is authorized to practice in the state. Early years in practice included work on civil matters and routine court appearances. That hands-on experience shaped the way he runs a small practice today.

LaPorte-Jenner became active in bar associations and legal organizations soon after beginning his career. In 2020 he took on a leadership role as Chair-Elect of the Arkansas Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, a post he continued to hold. He also joined the Overton Inn of Court and in 2021 assumed the office of Secretary-Treasurer, a role that involves managing meeting logistics and supporting educational programming. Those positions put him in regular contact with judges, experienced litigators, and other lawyers across Arkansas.

His involvement in professional groups complements the work he does at his own firm. He founded LaPorte-Jenner Law, PLLC and operates it as a compact practice designed to handle client work directly. The office structure is lean and client-focused. He handles filings, court appearances, and client meetings himself rather than through layers of staff.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing cases and straightforward in client communications. He tends to break complex issues into plain terms so clients can make informed decisions. In court he presents arguments cleanly and relies on prepared records rather than theatrical flourishes.

Outside the office he continues to volunteer time to bar activities and to mentor newer lawyers in the Young Lawyers Section. He has spoken at local events about practical lawyering skills and ethical obligations. Those engagements reflect a practice that values professional development as much as case results.

He practices law in Arkansas through LaPorte-Jenner Law, PLLC, handling matters in state courts and advising clients on issues arising under Arkansas law.
