About Mr. John
Mr. John Bisnar has spent more than four decades handling personal injury matters in California. He founded Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Lawyers in 1978 and has served as its managing partner since. His career stretches back to a law degree earned in the 1970s and an undergraduate background in finance.
He earned a J.D. from Pepperdine University in 1974, where his studies included trial advocacy and personal injury law. Before that he completed a B.S. in Finance and Investments at California State University, Long Beach in 1970. Those early years set the technical and courtroom groundwork for work that followed.
After law school he entered practice in California and later established his own firm. The firm has operated for decades under his leadership. He is listed as a Lawyer and Counselor at Law by the State Bar of California and practices in California courts.
Mr. Bisnar’s practice has centered on personal injury litigation and trial work. He has led case teams and handled jury trials. He also has overseen case development, settlement negotiations and litigation strategy at the firm level. His legal work has emphasized representing individuals who have been injured in accidents and seeking compensation through both settlement and trial.
The firm maintains offices in Orange County, Los Angeles and Riverside. Those locations allow the firm to file cases and appear in a range of California trial courts. As managing partner, he directs firm operations and participates in client counsel, while other attorneys at the firm handle day-to-day litigation matters under his oversight.
Across a long career that began after his Pepperdine graduation and the founding of his firm in 1978, Mr. Bisnar has continued to work primarily on personal injury and trial litigation. Today he remains active in practicing law and overseeing the firm’s casework, representing people injured in accidents and related personal injury matters.
