About Mr. Harold

Mr. Harold Semanoff has practiced law since the mid-1970s. He built his career after completing an undergraduate degree in business and management, and then earning his law degree four years later. He has maintained a steady presence in Pennsylvania’s legal community for many years.

He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Business & Management in 1970. He then attended Albany Law School and received his law degree in 1974. Those early years set a foundation that combined business training with legal study.

Soon after law school he established himself in the Pennsylvania bar. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and holds credentials to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Over time he has handled matters that required work in both trial and appellate settings.

Mr. Semanoff has been involved in bar associations for decades. He has been a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association since 1977, and he joined the American Bar Association the same year. He also holds membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, each since 1977. Those long-standing memberships reflect ongoing ties to local and national legal organizations.

He practices at The Semanoff Law Office. His admissions permit him to represent clients in state courts and to handle appeals in federal court when needed. He represents clients in filings that can involve both trial-level litigation and appellate work, drawing on his years of courtroom experience.

Colleagues describe him as steady and practical in the courtroom. He approaches disputes with attention to procedural detail and an eye toward the records that shape appellate review. Outside of litigation he has used his business background to advise on procedural and strategic matters that touch on both corporate and individual concerns.

In his current work he continues to serve clients through The Semanoff Law Office, representing them in matters brought in Pennsylvania and in federal courts, including the Third Circuit and matters filed in the U.S. Supreme Court.
