About Mr. Frank J
Mr. Frank J LaRocca earned his J.D. from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 1995 after beginning his legal studies in 1992. He built a foundation in legal research and trial practice during law school and carried that grounding into his early career. The law degree set the stage for a steady rise in family and matrimonial law in New Jersey.
He moved into private practice soon after graduation and over the years took on roles that combined client work, courtroom appearances and firm management. He is the managing partner at LaRocca Hornik Rosen Greenberg & Blaha, PC, a position that puts him in charge of both case strategy and the day-to-day running of the firm. In that role he oversees teams handling divorce, asset division and related disputes, while maintaining an active caseload of his own.
LaRocca holds certification as a Matrimonial Law Lawyer from the New Jersey Supreme Court. That credential signals a formal recognition of experience and training in family law matters under the state’s standards. He practices in New Jersey state courts and is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, which allows him to handle appeals that arise from the region’s trial courts.
His practice blends courtroom work and negotiated settlements. He handles contested divorces, equitable distribution, child custody and support issues, and spousal maintenance matters. He has represented clients in trial and has overseen appeals when parties sought review in higher courts. In managing larger cases he combines evidence gathering, motion practice and trial preparation. He also works with financial experts and other professionals when complex assets or valuation questions are at stake.
Clients and colleagues often see him as a practical problem solver. He tends to lay out realistic options and then pursue the course the client chooses. He balances the adversarial mechanics of family litigation with efforts to limit cost and delay where possible. The firm environment he leads emphasizes coordinated representation across a case’s lifecycle.
Outside the courtroom he has responsibilities as a firm leader that include mentoring junior lawyers, guiding litigation strategy and steering administrative decisions. He continues to accept new matters and remains active in both trial and appellate work. He is based at LaRocca Hornik Rosen Greenberg & Blaha, PC and his current practice focuses on matrimonial and family law matters in New Jersey and appeals in the Third Circuit.
