Dominique Tonacchio is a founding partner at Tonacchio, Spina & Compitello, LLC, a law firm with offices in Freehold and Forked River, New Jersey. Dominique earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Law and Sociology, with a minor in Women’s Studies, from The Pennsylvania State University in 2006.
She graduated on the Dean’s List for academic excellence. She then obtained her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law, where she served as Executive Vice President of the Student Bar Association and was a member of the Honor Board. She also became a certified mediator, enhancing her skills in conflict resolution. Dominique's practice areas include family law, criminal defense, juvenile matters, DCPP cases, appellate litigation, real estate transactions, professional licensing law, HOA disputes, and unemployment and Board of Review appeals.
She has successfully litigated high-conflict divorce trials, criminal cases, termination of parental rights cases, and appellate matters, consistently achieving favorable outcomes. Admitted to practice in New Jersey in 2014 and New York in 2015, Dominique has over a decade of legal experience. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2023 and 2024. She is a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association, Ocean County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
