About Mr. Clayton H Walker

Mr. Clayton H Walker Jr. earned his law degree from the University of Houston in 1990. He entered practice after law school and built a career that spans state and federal courts. He combines legal training with formal credentials in finance and accounting.

His admissions include the courts of Texas and Alaska and appearances before the Fifth and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the Texas Board of Public Accountancy, and holds a Certified Financial Manager credential from the College of Financial Planning. Those qualifications shape how he approaches cases and counsel.

Walker has been active in professional circles for decades. He has maintained membership in the American Bar Association since 1990 and joined the Alaska Bar Association in 2000. He holds membership in the Transportation Lawyers Association as well. That mix of affiliations reflects interests in both general litigation and regulated industries.

Outside the courtroom he has taken on governance and advisory roles. He serves as vice chair of the Anchorage Municipality Platting Board, a position he has held since 2013. He has been chancellor for the Alaska Methodist Church Annual Conference since 2013. He also leads at the local level as board president for Anchor Lutheran School, a role he began in 2014 and continues to hold.

His dual training in law and accounting informs his practice. It allows him to handle matters that involve financial analysis, regulatory compliance and appellate advocacy. He has experience presenting issues in federal appellate settings and working with administrative bodies at the municipal level.

Walker conducts his practice through Alaska Law Offices, Inc. He works with clients on issues that cross legal and financial lines, including appellate representation and matters involving municipal and regulatory processes. He remains active in his community while maintaining a practice that reflects his combined legal and accounting background.

He continues to represent clients through Alaska Law Offices, Inc., concentrating on matters that intersect law, finance and regulatory practice.
