About Mona
Mona Parsa graduated from Whittier Law School and entered private practice soon after. Her legal education placed her in the California legal community during a period of change in the state's courts. She took the bar and began building a practice in Southern California.
She established the Law Office of Mona Parsa in 2009 and has practiced under that name since then. Early in her career she secured the ability to appear in federal court and is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit. Over the years she has handled matters that required appearances in both federal and state venues, learning the procedural differences between them and developing practical courtroom experience.
Parsa's work has been concentrated geographically across a broad swath of Southern California. Her offices serve clients in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. That regional footprint has meant frequent travel between county courthouses and, when necessary, federal courthouses that hear appeals. Colleagues and clients have noted that maintaining a presence across multiple counties requires attention to local rules and calendar practices.
Her practice blends litigation and courtroom work. She prepares pleadings, manages pretrial matters, and handles hearings and trials where needed. Participation in appellate matters before the Ninth Circuit has been part of her docket, requiring concise briefs and oral argument preparation. That mix of trial and appellate tasks defines how she allocates time and resources in the office.
Parsa also spends time on client counseling and case strategy. That work involves assessing risk, evaluating settlement options, and preparing cases for trial when settlement is not possible. She has worked to keep clients informed about procedural steps and likely outcomes, aiming for clarity in an often-technical system.
Her office operates within the legal landscape of Southern California courts and the Ninth Circuit. She continues to represent clients in both federal and state proceedings, managing matters that require litigation, court appearances, and appellate filings. She represents clients in matters before the Ninth Circuit and in state courts across Southern California.
