About Kristina
Kristina Porcar built her legal foundation at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2016 with concentrations in business and tax law. She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of California, Davis in 2011. Those academic choices shaped an early interest in the intersection of business decisions and regulatory frameworks.
Her practical training began while she was still in law school. In 2014 she worked as a law clerk at the Law Offices of Jack S. Johal. Later, in 2018, she returned to the same general practice environment as a law clerk and paralegal at Wagner Kirkman Blaine Klomparens & Youmans LLP, a firm that is now part of Fennemore. Those early positions exposed her to client intake, document preparation, and the day-to-day mechanics of handling transactional and litigation support work.
By 2021 she was practicing as a lawyer in two settings. She served in a lawyer role at Wagner Kirkman Blaine Klomparens & Youmans LLP (now Fennemore) and also at Drobny Law Offices, Inc. Those roles expanded her responsibilities to include substantive legal drafting, client counseling, and courtroom preparation where required. Working in small- and mid-size firm environments gave her regular client contact and responsibility for routine matters across business and civil practice areas.
In 2022 she worked as a contract lawyer while self-employed. That period offered flexibility to take discrete engagements and to work across different practice management systems. The following year she incorporated that experience into her own practice and founded Porcar Law. As owner and lawyer since 2023 she has handled entity formation, corporate governance, contract matters, and other transactional issues that businesses encounter.
Porcar is a commissioned Notary Public in the State of California. She also maintains membership in the California Lawyers Association. These credentials support the administrative and procedural functions often required in business and transactional work, from notarizations to staying current on California-specific developments.
She is licensed to practice in California and continues to maintain a practice that concentrates on business and tax-related legal matters for individuals and small businesses. Her current practice at Porcar Law serves clients across California on transactional and tax-adjacent issues.
