About Mona
Mona Hosseiny-Tovar entered the legal field after completing study at two American law schools in 2015. She earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law that year and also attended SMU Dedman School of Law, finishing her formal legal education in 2015.
Her academic record positioned her to begin practice in Texas. She is admitted to practice in that state and moved quickly into firm work after graduation. In 2015 she joined Hosseiny & Herrera Law Office as an associate, taking on day-to-day client work and the routine responsibilities of a small firm associate.
The next notable step in her career came in 2022, when she joined Goranson Bain Ausley as an associate lawyer. That move placed her inside a larger regional firm setting and broadened the range of matters she encounters. Her time at Goranson Bain Ausley has involved collaborating with other attorneys on cases and participating in the litigation and case-preparation processes common to firm practice.
Outside firm walls she has maintained ties to professional organizations. She has been a member of the LGBT Bar Association since 2017 and was a member of the Iranian American Bar Association from 2012 until 2015. Those memberships reflect an interest in bar activities and professional networks that extend beyond day-to-day client files.
Colleagues describe her work as steady and practical. She handles research, drafts pleadings and motions, and assists in trial preparation when cases move toward litigation. Her background at a small firm gave her early exposure to client counseling and case management. Her later work at a larger firm has added team-based practice and work on more complex matters.
She continues to practice in Texas and remains based at Goranson Bain Ausley. She currently practices at Goranson Bain Ausley, focusing on legal matters in Texas.
