About Michael

Michael Schafle built his legal foundation at Temple University's Beasley School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2004. He arrived at law school with academic honors already to his name and left with others that underscored his aptitude for legal analysis and writing. While at Temple, he received Highest Honors in Legal Research and Writing and was awarded a Law Faculty Scholarship. He was also a member of national honor societies including Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Gamma Mu, and Phi Eta Sigma.

Those academic achievements shaped a career that has remained connected to trial practice and professional advocacy. Schafle is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Over the years he has maintained active ties to the trial bar, joining professional groups that reflect that work. He is a current member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.

His involvement goes beyond membership. Schafle serves on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, where he participates in governance and the development of educational programming for trial lawyers across the state. The role has kept him engaged with evolving courtroom procedures and the practical concerns of litigators. Colleagues describe him as attentive in meetings and thorough in committee work.

In practice, Schafle has focused on litigation and trial work in state courts across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His background in legal research and writing has informed how he prepares cases and drafts pleadings. He approaches matters with emphasis on careful preparation and courtroom readiness. He is known for staying current on procedural changes and for contributing to discussions within the professional groups to which he belongs.

Outside of court and committee rooms, Schafle’s career reflects a steady through-line from academic honors to active professional engagement. He continues to participate in trial-focused associations and to take on litigation matters in the two states where he is licensed. He maintains a practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey that centers on trial litigation and professional advocacy for clients in state court.
