About Michael G. Page
Michael G. Page Jr. earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2005. He finished law school at a time when many new attorneys began their careers behind the bench and in small firms. His path followed that pattern. He moved into clerkships that gave him steady exposure to courtroom procedures and case preparation early on.
His first post-graduate position was as a law clerk at Schnaare Law Office in 2005. That role involved legal research, drafting memoranda and assisting with client intake. Two years later he served as a law clerk at Langston Law, Chartered, where he spent more time observing court appearances and helping prepare trial materials. Those early years provided practical training in litigation fundamentals and file management.
In 2008 he began practicing under the name Michael Page Jr., Lawyer at Law. He set up a private practice and handled a mix of matters for individuals and local businesses. Running a small office required him to balance client work with administrative duties. He took responsibility for client communications, pleadings, court filings and court appearances, often managing several matters at once.
Page is licensed to practice in both Kansas and Missouri. He has maintained his practice across those jurisdictions. That dual licensure means he is able to represent clients in state-level matters on both sides of the border. Familiarity with the procedural rules and local courthouses in each state is a practical asset for clients who work or live near state lines.
Colleagues and former supervising attorneys describe him as methodical in legal research and practical in courtroom preparation. His clerkship experience translated into a steady approach to drafting and motion work. Over time he built a routine of preparing for hearings, handling discovery and advising clients on procedural options. He tends to emphasize clear communication and setting realistic expectations for outcomes.
Today Page operates a private practice under his own name. He continues to handle litigation-related tasks, client consultations and case management in Kansas and Missouri. He maintains an active role in representing and advising clients in state matters, serving communities in both jurisdictions.
