About Michael G.
Michael G. Friedman trained first as a student of history and law. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University before moving on to New York Law School, where he received his J.D. His legal education placed him in urban classrooms and clinic settings in New York, and it prepared him for practice across state lines.
He is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, Maine and New Jersey and holds current memberships in each state bar. Those memberships reflect the geographic span of his practice and the range of courts and administrative forums in which he has appeared. He retains active standing in all three bars and participates in professional activities tied to those jurisdictions.
Friedman serves as Of Counsel at Savo, Schalk, Gillespie, O Grodnick & Fisher, P.A. In that role he provides advice to the firm’s attorneys and clients and contributes on matters that require cross-jurisdictional attention. Colleagues describe him as a steady presence who works behind the scenes on research, drafting and client counseling. His title signals a senior role that balances independent work with collaboration inside the firm.
Over the course of his career he has handled transactions and disputes that required familiarity with the statutory and procedural differences among New Hampshire, Maine and New Jersey. He brings courtroom experience and counselling work together when matters demand both litigation posture and negotiated resolution. He also assists on procedural strategy, motions practice and document preparation, serving clients in both state-level proceedings and administrative contexts.
Today he practices from the offices of Savo, Schalk, Gillespie, O Grodnick & Fisher, P.A. and is available to clients whose matters touch New Hampshire, Maine or New Jersey. He continues to split his time between advising on case strategy and supporting other attorneys at his firm, focusing his practice on matters that span those three jurisdictions.
