About Michael David
Michael David Bixon entered law after a four-year undergraduate study in psychology. He earned his B.S. in psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2007 and went on to receive a J.D. from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2010. Those years shaped a practical approach to contested hearings and courtroom work.
Early in his legal development Bixon pursued trial training. He completed the Bill Daniel Trial Program administered by the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. That program is designed to sharpen courtroom technique, and he has carried those skills into courtroom preparation and case strategy.
Bixon’s professional memberships underline the areas that occupy his practice. He is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also participates in the Atlanta Lawyer Club, where local practitioners gather for discussions and events. Those affiliations keep him connected to developments in criminal law and trial procedure.
In practice Bixon presents cases in courtrooms and prepares clients for hearings. He places emphasis on thorough preparation, witness examination, and crafting trial narratives that jurors can follow. He is known among colleagues for steady courtroom manner and an attention to evidentiary detail. He handles the practical tasks of litigation — drafting motions, taking and defending depositions, and arguing at hearings — while maintaining direct client contact throughout each matter.
Bixon works from an office at 260 Peachtree St. NW. He meets clients, consults with investigators, and manages filing deadlines there. He is active in continuing education and trial training through the organizations he belongs to, taking opportunities to refresh and refine trial techniques.
He regularly accepts matters that require contested hearings and trial readiness. He maintains an active criminal defense practice and concentrates on trial litigation.
