About Luisa Priscilla

Luisa Priscilla Alejos built a steady path into law that began with dual undergraduate degrees in 2010. She earned a B.A. in sociology and a B.S. in psychology from Georgia State University. Four years later she completed her J.D. at Mississippi College School of Law. The academic record shows an interest in the human side of legal problems alongside formal legal training.

Her early legal work was hands-on. In 2019 she worked as a paralegal at the Law Office of Gregory Chanc. That role placed her in the daily tasks that support litigation and client work. She stepped into a lawyer’s role in 2021 as an associate at Cobb Criminal Defense Law Office. There she worked on matters typical to a criminal defense practice and gained courtroom experience.

In 2022 she founded L.P.A. Law, LLC. The move to start her own firm followed experience at both staff and associate levels. Running a small firm brought administrative responsibilities in addition to casework. Her background gives her experience on several levels of firm operations: preparing cases, appearing in court, and managing client relationships.

Her memberships reflect the areas where she has professional ties. She holds memberships in the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. She is also a member of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers and the Cobb County Bar Association. She maintains a membership in the Animal Legal Defense Fund, which indicates an interest in the legal issues affecting animals as well as people.

Colleagues describe her work as grounded in the procedures and demands of trial practice rather than in abstract legal theory. That description aligns with her career trajectory: paralegal work leading to associate duties and then to firm founder. The sequence shows a steady accumulation of courtroom and case-preparation experience.

She remains based in Georgia and practices through L.P.A. Law, LLC. Her current practice handles criminal defense and related litigation matters, combining trial work and case management at her firm.
