About Michael
Michael Belair earned his J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2016. His time in law school included clinic work and internships that placed him inside public agencies and federal enforcement offices. Those experiences shaped his practical approach to client work early in his career.
While at New England Law Boston, he served as a student lawyer certified under SJC Rule 3:03 in the school's Public Interest Clinic in 2014. He also interned with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as a mediation intern in 2014 and spent a term as an intern for legal counsel with Cambridge Public Schools in 2015. In 2016 he worked as a legal intern at the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services.
After law school he moved into private practice. In 2017 he joined the Law Office of Mark H. Ruby as a lawyer, where he handled client matters and courtroom appearances. He has maintained membership in the State Bar of Massachusetts during his time in practice.
In 2023 he became part of Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers. At that firm he has taken on cases that involve injury claims and litigation on behalf of individuals. His background in public interest clinic work and state agency internships informs how he approaches investigation and client counseling. He is known among colleagues for methodical preparation and steady courtroom presence.
Colleagues and clients describe him as practical and straightforward. He tends to prioritize clarity in communication and careful case development. Outside of casework he has continued to follow developments in Massachusetts law relevant to injury litigation and municipal matters.
He practices at Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers and concentrates his work on personal injury matters and related litigation.
