About Michael B.
Michael B. Lammers began his path to the law in the classroom. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Iowa and later completed his legal education at the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2008. Those academic years framed an interest in how rules shape public and private life and prepared him for the practical work that followed.
He entered legal practice as a law clerk in 2007 at Germscheid & Heimerl. That posting gave him early exposure to courtroom procedure and case preparation. He moved quickly into partnership roles. In 2009 he became a partner at Germscheid, Heimerl & Lammers LLC and in 2010 he was a partner at Heimerl & Lammers, LLC. The rapid progression from clerk to partner marked the first decade of his career and placed him in a leadership role at a small firm setting.
Across those years Lammers took on both office management duties and case responsibilities typical of a partner in a regional practice. He has been active in bar and professional organizations throughout his career. He holds membership in the Minnesota Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is involved locally through the Hennepin County Bar Association and has been a member of the Douglas Amdahl Inn of Courts since 2013. He also joined the Board of Governors of the Minnesota Association for Justice in 2013 and continues to serve in that capacity.
Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and practical at the negotiating table. He brings the experience of having worked at the same firm through different configurations and nameplates, and he understands the demands of running a law office as well as the demands of representing clients. Over time his work has included managing litigation dockets, supervising staff, and mentoring younger attorneys who come through the firm.
Lammers practices in Minnesota and remains based at Heimerl & Lammers, LLC. He balances courtroom work with firm leadership and professional service through bar activities. He is an active member of several legal organizations and serves on the Minnesota Association for Justice Board of Governors. He currently maintains an active practice in Minnesota as a partner at Heimerl & Lammers, LLC.
