About Meredith

Meredith Lehmann built a foundation in economics before turning to law. She earned a B.S. in Economics from Virginia Tech in 2012, followed by an M.A. in Economics from the University of South Carolina in 2013. She completed her legal studies at the University of Kansas School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2016.

Her early legal work came while she was still in law school and immediately afterward. In 2014 she served as a judicial clerk for the Third Judicial District in Shawnee County and held an externship with the Kansas Department of Corrections. Those roles gave her regular exposure to courtroom procedure and to the administrative side of state corrections. In 2015 she spent time in both private and public interest settings, interning at Moore & Associates and serving as a senior intern at the Douglas County Legal Aid Society.

By 2017 she was working as a lawyer at Maron Law Group LLC. That position followed a series of formative experiences across government and nonprofit offices. The combination of clerkship, corrections externship and legal aid work shaped the kinds of matters she has handled and the practical perspective she brings to clients and colleagues.

Lehmann is licensed to practice in both South Carolina and Kansas. She maintains current membership in the South Carolina State Bar. Her dual jurisdiction status reflects a career that began in the Midwest and has expanded to include practice in the Southeast.

Colleagues describe Lehmann as thorough in legal research and deliberate in courtroom settings. Her background in economics informs how she approaches case analysis and client counseling. She has practical experience with intake and case management from her time in legal aid, and she knows the routines of court administration from her clerkship.

Her résumé shows a steady arc from academic study in economics to a focused legal career that crosses sectors. She has worked in government settings, nonprofit legal services and a private law firm. That mix gives her familiarity with different institutional cultures and procedural frameworks.

As of 2026 Lehmann practices law in jurisdictions that include South Carolina and Kansas and continues to draw on her earlier work in courts, corrections and legal aid in handling current matters.
