About Melissa K.

Melissa K. Driscoll built her legal foundation at the State University of New York College at Geneseo, where she earned a B.A. in 1998. She went on to Quinnipiac University School of Law and received her J.D. in 2004. The path from undergraduate study to law school was direct, and her early work experience gave her an inside view of legal practice before she took the bar.

Early in her career Driscoll worked as a paralegal at Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto in 1999. That position exposed her to the day-to-day demands of a busy firm and the mechanics of case preparation. After finishing law school she joined Menz Bonner Komar & Koenigsberg LLP. Records list her as a senior lawyer there beginning in 2004.

Driscoll is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. She also holds admission to the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Those credentials allow her to represent clients in both state and federal court across the region. Her career shows an early move from paralegal work into a role as a senior lawyer, a trajectory that suggests steady professional advancement.

Colleagues describe her work as pragmatic and detail-oriented. She has handled matters that required coordination across courts and jurisdictions. In a practice environment that often demands quick adjustment to new procedural rules, she has maintained active appearances in both state and federal dockets. Her professional record reflects courtroom experience and sustained engagement with litigation practice in New York and Connecticut.

At Menz Bonner Komar & Koenigsberg LLP Driscoll has been part of a team that manages complex case files and client reporting. Her responsibilities have included drafting pleadings, preparing for hearings, and managing discovery. Those tasks have kept her involved in nearly every stage of litigation, from pretrial motions through court appearances.

Outside of casework she has participated in internal firm matters and client consultations. She approaches those duties in a straightforward manner and emphasizes practical outcomes for clients. Her background as a paralegal has informed how she organizes case materials and prepares trial exhibits.

She continues to practice at Menz Bonner Komar & Koenigsberg LLP and focuses her work on litigation in New York and Connecticut, including appearances in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
