About Eileen

Eileen Ornousky began her academic path at Colgate University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2018. Those formative years shaped the legal foundation she would bring to practice in New York.

After law school, Ornousky moved into private practice. She joined Menz Bonner Komar & Koenigsberg LLP as an associate. The firm is where she has applied the skills developed in law school to the day-to-day work of a practicing lawyer.

Ornousky is admitted to practice in New York. In her role at the firm she has taken on tasks common to early-career attorneys: legal research, drafting court and transactional documents, and communicating with clients and opposing counsel. She collaborates with senior attorneys on case strategy and supports trial and transactional teams when matters move forward.

Colgate and St. John’s provided the classroom training. The office taught the practical demands of deadlines and courtroom procedure. Colleagues describe her work as thorough and detail-oriented. She balances methodical preparation with an eye for the procedural steps that move a file ahead.

Her clients and cases reflect the varied needs that come through a midsize law practice. That variety keeps the daily work varied. Ornousky handles assignments that require both close textual analysis and plainspoken explanations for clients who need clear direction.

Outside the office, she maintains professional ties in the New York legal community. Those contacts help when complex matters require input from specialists or coordination across practice groups. She continues to build experience handling the legal matters the firm accepts, and she remains based in New York.

As an associate at Menz Bonner Komar & Koenigsberg LLP, Ornousky practices law in New York, where she focuses on delivering routine and substantive legal work for the firm’s clients.
