About Megan

Megan Timm combines law and business training in a compact résumé. She earned both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Montana, completing both degrees in 2017 after beginning her studies several years earlier. Those twin credentials shape how she approaches client matters and practice management.

Her legal education at the University of Montana School of Law concluded in 2017, and she completed the MBA at the University of Montana-Missoula the same year. The dual degree program gave her exposure to transactional thinking and the mechanics of running a small practice. Classwork and clinic placements introduced practical legal tasks alongside strategy and finance courses from the business school.

Timm’s early career shows a pattern of alternating between private practice settings and her own office. She was listed as a lawyer at Timm Law Office, PC in 2018, spent 2019 at Gravis Law, PLLC, and returned to Timm Law Office, PC by 2020. Those moves reflect time spent building a solo practice while also gaining experience in a firm environment. Colleagues and clients from both settings describe her as orderly in case preparation and attentive to procedural detail.

On paper her roles are recorded as lawyer, M.B.A., across those years. In practice that means she handles the legal work herself and oversees the administrative side of a small firm. That combination makes her comfortable handling tasks that range from client intake to drafting pleadings and managing calendars. Her work in firm and solo contexts has provided experience in litigation logistics and client communication across a variety of matters local to Montana.

She maintains professional memberships and is active in the state’s legal community. Those affiliations keep her connected to changes in Montana law and to peers who practice in neighboring areas of the law. Participation in local bar activities has also given her opportunities to assist in continuing legal education events and community outreach when schedules allow.

Today she practices from Timm Law Office, PC in Montana. Her current practice centers on legal matters arising under Montana law, and she handles both client representation and the administrative oversight of her office.
