About Megan Mersch

Megan Mersch Fields built her academic foundation at Clemson University, where she studied political science and completed a B.S. in 2005 after beginning her undergraduate work in 2002. She moved on to Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, attending from 2006 and earning her J.D. in 2009. Those years shaped a methodical approach to fact-gathering and legal analysis.

After law school she gained admission to practice in both Ohio and Kentucky. That dual admission has allowed her to represent clients across state lines and to handle matters that turn on differences between neighboring state laws. She has remained active in professional circles and maintains current memberships in bar and other legal associations.

Fields’s early career involved steady courtroom exposure and client counsel. She learned the practical demands of litigation and the planning required for transactional work. Colleagues describe her as thorough; she approaches each matter by assembling the critical documents, mapping the procedural steps, and setting clear expectations for clients. Her work has required navigating state court rules and administrative processes in both jurisdictions.

At Rendigs, Fry, Kiely & Dennis she serves as an attorney in a firm that represents a range of business and individual clients. Her role there includes advising on regulatory and compliance questions that have cross-border implications between Ohio and Kentucky. She also assists clients during pre-litigation stages and through formal proceedings when disputes escalate. The firm environment has given her the chance to collaborate with lawyers across practice areas and to handle matters that touch on employment, commercial, and municipal issues.

Outside of casework she contributes to firm projects that streamline client intake and case management. She has helped refine internal workflows so that files move more predictably from initial consultation to resolution. That operational work complements her legal responsibilities and aims to reduce surprises for clients.

Peers and clients value clarity in her communications. She tends to break complex issues into manageable parts and to outline options plainly. In 2026 she continues to practice at Rendigs, Fry, Kiely & Dennis, handling legal matters arising in Ohio and Kentucky.
